Summary

I’m Jacqueline， daughter of Hasan， ruling werecat of the Americas， the werecat liaison to humanity， and the lover of Heath Everson， Alpha werewolf。 But I go by Jacky Leon and no one knows about the werewolf。

Some time ago， I met a fae and his family while on the run。 They helped me， and for his own reasons， the fae had given me a gift。 I never went looking for him。 I knew the name he gave me and I did my best not to think too hard about it， him， or his family。

Life has a fun way of bringing things back because he's the lost king of the fae and now everyone knows。 People who want him to take back the throne， people who want to kill him so he can’t， and people who want to hurt those he loves just to see him hurt。

And I’m the werecat he gave a gift， just in case he ever needed someone to protect his innocent human wife。 I’m now a pawn in a deadly clash of fae powers the likes of which has never been seen。

HOLY SHIT what did I just read？？？？ 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱Okay。 Okay。 So we all expected King Brion to involve Jacky in his business by invoking the Duty law。 And I'm pretty sure we all expected for Heath to be roped in， one way or another， and for shit to hit the motherfucking fan。 And let's not kid ourselves， we knew a time would come where Jacky and Heath would have to reveal their relationship。 But the ONE thing I didn't expect in this book， was for Sorcha to fucking DIE！！！！ 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I so loved that woman （for HOLY SHIT what did I just read？？？？ 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱Okay。 Okay。 So we all expected King Brion to involve Jacky in his business by invoking the Duty law。 And I'm pretty sure we all expected for Heath to be roped in， one way or another， and for shit to hit the motherfucking fan。 And let's not kid ourselves， we knew a time would come where Jacky and Heath would have to reveal their relationship。 But the ONE thing I didn't expect in this book， was for Sorcha to fucking DIE！！！！ 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I so loved that woman （for those who're reading the Kaliyah Sahni series， you know who I'm talking about）。 This is like。。。one of the worst literary betrayals of all time！！ 😭😭😭😭 Fucking hell K。N。 Banet。 I sure hope you bring her back！！ 。。。more

This book was so heartwrenchingly good！This is the sixth book in the Jacky Leon series， and so much happens in this book， I was literally glued to it until the end。 It was just one thing after another for Jackie & Heath on this journey into the chaos that is the Fae。They were completely out of their league with the Fae in this book， and I wasn't sure if they'd both make it out alive。 Not everyone did， and it broke my heart a little。 Jackie & Heath's relationship is strong and growing wonderfully This book was so heartwrenchingly good！This is the sixth book in the Jacky Leon series， and so much happens in this book， I was literally glued to it until the end。 It was just one thing after another for Jackie & Heath on this journey into the chaos that is the Fae。They were completely out of their league with the Fae in this book， and I wasn't sure if they'd both make it out alive。 Not everyone did， and it broke my heart a little。 Jackie & Heath's relationship is strong and growing wonderfully。 Their secret that came out at the end is worrisome。 I'm so scared for Jackie & Heath going forward。 I have no idea what's going to happen in the next book， and the title is a little alarming。 I'll be waiting desperately on pins and needles until then。I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy （ARC） of this book。 。。。more

Oh my！ Well then that was a stunner of a book！ I can’t believe that happened！！ So many things！ I can say this， if you aren’t reading about Jacky Leon or even Kaliya Sahni and you like PNR well that is a shame！ These are excellent books and the stories won’t let you down！

GreatI enjoyed this story。 Jacky and Heath spend time as a team and we get to see them work together and have moments of joy。 There was an unexpected death which was very sad as I like all the characters to get their HEA。

Fae fkn tastic。 Also wow rip my heart out why dont you？ I love this series。 Honestly its amazing & im hoping December comes quickly because gods i need the next book NOW。 I want to be punny and say im glad the cat is out of the bag but i have a feeling my hearts going to go through a meat grinder and probably wont get a lot of happy cuteness。 But damn that end scene though 😍

Ok， so I loved this book。 What really gets me about this series is how different every book feels there isn’t that feel predictable plots or story by numbers。 Every part of the story feels so organic and new and interesting and I loved the little ‘Not-Spoilers’ dotted throughout。 What I love most about Jacky is something Sorcha pointed out， Heath and Jacky WANT to be together。 They are fighting to be together and I loved how they felt like a really healthy relationship。 Wholesome in a way。 In th Ok， so I loved this book。 What really gets me about this series is how different every book feels there isn’t that feel predictable plots or story by numbers。 Every part of the story feels so organic and new and interesting and I loved the little ‘Not-Spoilers’ dotted throughout。 What I love most about Jacky is something Sorcha pointed out， Heath and Jacky WANT to be together。 They are fighting to be together and I loved how they felt like a really healthy relationship。 Wholesome in a way。 In that， Jacky felt unsure about particular things and brought them up with Heath。 Then Heath was honest and open and reassured Jacky and they had a proper discussion and it was SO NICE。 It’s what you expect rational people would do and so many book romances have a flare of toxic about them that it felt revolutionary to me that they actually communicated honestly！！ They did this throughout and I loved it and am here for it。 Also loved how they knew each other’s limits with their own animals and made exceptions and understandings for those。There was some great action in this book。 I didn't feel as on the edge as I have in the past but the pacing was great and the momentum was great。 Jacky and Heath are a great pair。 This book had a lot of cross overs which I loved。 Really enjoying the wider world the K N Banet is creating here。So much happened in this book relationship-wise and I can’t wait to unpack it all on the Facebook page with everyone。 。。。more
